How to Save on Thanksgiving Groceries

The holiday season is upon us with several holidays all around the same time. As for right now, we have Thanksgiving right around the corner. While this is the time to start thinking about what we are thankful for, it is also a time where families will be spending a lot of money on food, gifts, and everything in between.

We at Saverr wanted to let our readers in on a few tips we have heard about that can help families save on all of their Thanksgiving shopping.

1. Start early
Even though Turkey Day is right around the corner, we hope this is something you can use for any holiday. Prices increase the closer it gets to any holiday, so make sure you buy what you need early. Even your bird itself can be bought early and you can keep it frozen. This will help two-fold because frozen turkeys are much less expensive all of the time and have been said to taste exactly the same.

2. Have a Pot Luck
The holidays is a time when you are surrounded by family, and most of the time the host family is stuck with the bill. Share the expenses by asking family members to bring their favorite dishes. Making sure that you know what everyone is bringing before the day is also important so that you know exactly what you have.

3. Use coupons
Of course, always use coupons to save as much as you can. Around the holidays, companies start pushing out coupons that are meant for holiday items as well, so keep on the lookout for any and all coupons. Make sure you have Saverr on your phone to get all the best coupons and circulars around your area. Click on the button below to make sure you get the app!

And there you have it. Now go out and save. Like we like to say here at Saverr, Keep Calm and Save On.
